there have already been a few informal discussions about moving the trollcave to a new place for a series of reasons: 1) lack of space/ lack of spaces (noisy, silent, workshop, storage,...) 2) potential kitchen wars 3) we are more trolls now 4) your reason here
I reopen the discussion here.
What do you think about the issue? Do you have any ideas about where we could move next - or are you against it and would you rather stay at the current place?
I would also like to have an idea of: 1) how many we are (and therefore how much space do we need and how much can we afford) 2) what requirements do we have? (nr of rooms, what infrastructure, location, ...)

I still think that searching for a new place is a great idea, especiall because of 1).
At first let me say, that I am not a member of CDA (yet), but I believe we need more tables and less (or at least not more) couches to develop a more productive environment.
The largest number of trolls I've seen in Trollhoehle at the same time must have been a few weeks back at Plenum, where there were more than 30 trolls around, if I counted correct. I think this is however the only time during the week, where numbers are peaking.
The most important issue will probably be rent. But let's see if someone comes up with an idea, where to relocate to, first.

Hi spiky,
As far as I can remember, the result of the last discussion was "Yes, a bigger room would good, but it's not easy to find one for a price we can pay". Especially for a room that near to the university, which is quite a good thing to have imho.
About 2): Currently, we have a peace contract which seems to work quite well, so I hope this is no longer a problem.
