Hello everyone,

I am happy to announce that the Freifunk project in Darmstadt is evolving well, but now we need to build the actual network all over the city (and surroundings). Therefore we need your help, and your wireless router.

If you already have a router you want to use for Freifunk, and it's not one of the models we mention below, we cannot ensure that it will work with the Gluon firmware (https://github.com/freifunk-gluon). Right now we do not have the availability to assist you with non-supported hardware, so you are on your own there.

We are going to order several TP-LINK routers soon, but only among the 3 following models:
2.4GHz: WR842ND (~28€)
5GHz: WDR3600 (~50€), WDR4300 (~ 52€)

If you want we can order one (or more) for you as well, just let me know until the 15th of May. Also, the more we order, the cheaper the shipping costs. The prices above include the shipping of 4 devices, so if you order one it will be cheaper.
