Hallo zusammen,
wie ihr alle sicherlich mitbekommen habt, hat der Hessische Landtag im
letzten Jahr im neuen Polizeigesetz den Staatstrojaner-Einsatz für die
Polizei beschlossen [1]. Zudem nutzt die Polizei in Hessen seit letztem
Jahr die von Palantir entwickelte Analysesoftware „Gotham“ (in Hessen
„HessenData“ genannt) und steht dafür stark in der Kritik [2]. Palantir
wird vorgeworfen, in den Cambridge Analytica Skandal verwickelt gewesen
zu sein und hat ohne Wissen des Stadtrats Daten aus internen Datenbanken
der Polizei New Orleans zur Optimierung ihrer Predictive Policing
Software verwendet.
Die Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF) [3] möchte nun dagegen klagen
und hat uns gefragt, ob wir hier mit dabei sein wollen.
Konkret:
- Könnten wir uns vorstellen, die Klage als Beschwerdeführer
mitzutragen? Der CCC Stuttgart hat das z.B. auch schon in BaWü gemacht
[4]. Die Klageschrift wird von der GFF übernommen, wir würden hier als
Mitkläger begründen, warum wir auch betroffen sind und dann natürlich
auch Pressearbeit beisteuern.
- Wollen wir „offiziell“ Kooperationsparner werden?
- Haben wir im Verein (oder im weiteren Bekanntenkreis) jemanden, der
tiefergehende Informationen zu HessenData hat? Aus der Presse ist ja
bereits einiges bekannt, aber Palantir hält sich natürlich weitgehend
bedeckt.
- Außerdem sind Hinweise, wer als weiterer Beschwerdeführer\*in infrage
käme, sehr gerne gesehen (z.B. Journalisten, Anwälte mit besonders
sensiblen Fällen, IT-Unternehmen etc.). Wer da jemanden kennt, der sich
vorstellen könnte, auch Beschwerdeführer*in zu werden, darf sich sehr
gerne bei mir melden. :)
Auf dem heutigen Plenum haben sich bereits Usako und cap als
Interessenten gemeldet, hier zu unterstützen. Ich selbst wäre auch
wieder mit dabei. Wer gerne uns gerne dabei unterstützen möchte, unsere
Freiheitsrechte in Hessen zu verteidigen, meldet sich am besten direkt
bei einem von uns oder hier auf der Mailingliste.
