Hey, ich glaube das könnte für Menschen hier Interessant sein:
Es gibt eine Autonomes Tutorieum dieses Semester an der TU zu *Open
Source and Society*
You use open-source software almost every day, though it may not always
be apparent. But what does open-source mean? How do closed-source,
proprietary, and open-source software interact to form your modern-day
experience on the internet? Who is developing open-source, and how is
their work compensated (or not)? What makes a project truly open, and
how does open development shape a project’s societal impact?
In this tutorial, we will explore open-source as users, organizational
decision-makers, and contributors. As the tutorial focuses on the
relationships of open-source development to society, we strongly
encourage students from any discipline to join. No coding is required!
If you do work on an open-source project, you’re welcome to share.
Throughout the tutorial, we will provide relevant examples, explain how
technical concepts are put into practice, and connect tutorial
participants with resources relevant to their academic interests and
open-source.
We will discuss the development models, history, and legal status of
open-source software. Furthermore, we will discuss open-source software
as an unconventional economic good, as a socio-technical system, an
increasingly critical infrastructure, and as a driver for social change.
